Meet Alzi Faubion

Alzirene “Alzi” Faubion, MA, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S
​
Alzi brings more than 40 years of experience in community mental health and private practice. She holds a master’s degree and is the founder and Clinical Director of Faubion Therapy Inc., serving children, adolescents, adults, and families.
​
She has a particular passion for helping children through humanistic, non-directive, and play-based approaches. Her experience includes working with children as young as three who have faced trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse, foster care and family transitions, grief and loss, domestic violence, anxiety, behavioral and emotional difficulties, attachment wounds, abandonment, and other complex life experiences.

Alzi is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S). She is also a Foundational Theraplay Practitioner, is EMDR certified, and is a sandtray practitioner.
​
Her work is grounded in the belief that healing occurs within a safe, accepting therapeutic relationship where clients can express themselves, discover their strengths, and move toward greater emotional well-being.

Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, Alzi welcomes individuals and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
